Vedoric University, Vedoric

Sister school to Yonsei University, Vedoric U was founded in 1935, as a Mirror of sorts to her sister School. Vedoric U would play a major role in shaping the Kingdom. It would be where Naval and Army officers would learn, and would have a heavy focus on Medical, Science, Engineering, and the Arts.

So it was no wonder that after the formation of the Empire, that the model used for Vedoric U, would be copied again for the Luar University in Aels, the Youngest of the three sister schools, each revered in their own light.

One could start their studies at any of the Sisters, and transfer to another if it offered a better course. It was not rare for a freshman to Start off in Luar U, and end up at Yonsei by the end of their fourth year, having spent a year at Vedoric U. Such students would go on to find work at the top of their fields, having experienced all the Empire had to offer, studied under the best, and had their appointment set in stone since their Junior year.

So it was no wonder that the schools only took the best for such programs. A major investment in the schools, and they would not just let anyone tarnish their names. Major companies looked to them to provide them with the best.

Ji Hee Knew this, and she knew the route she wished to take to the top. Out of the three Sisters, Yonsei was the Hardest to get into. She was the oldest, and thus more prestige than the others. Even placing in the top of her class, Ji Hee would still have to compete with the best from across the Empire. So during her junior year she applied to Vedoric U, in the Old Kingdom, and was surprised when they sent a scout to follow up.
Told that even with the grades she has now, she had already qualified for a free ride, but if she could place top of her class, then she would place in the Sisters Program.

So here she was, at the administration Office in Neidert Hall, collecting her welcome package, Student ID, and keys to her dorm.
She ran her fingers through her hair, and let out a small joyful yelp. She was in the Old Kingdom of Vedoric. She had never left Korea before, but made sure she took a year of learning the Vedoric dialect, which was a more sing-song version of Korean… No, she knew that was not right. Vedoricese, the old tongue of the Old Kingdom, was long since mixed with Korea, since the days of the royal merger. Even when Vedoric became de facto Korea, after the Japanese takeover of the homeland, the people of Vedoric had spoken a kind of Korean, or sung, as most would say.

She put the thought out of her head. Now was not the time for old world history that would be… She looked at her schedule. That would be tomorrow at noon. She fixed her bag onto her shoulder, and made her way from Neidert Hall, to her Dorms.

Eternal Spring Empty Fed

Wed Jan 18, 2023 1:28 pm
Lars rushes out of work. His job at a news center was one of those that did not provide its workers lunch, but instead took the Government mandated 90 minute lunch break for any worker that worked a 7-10 hour shift. Luckily for him, he worked the early morning shift, typing up the pointless shit for the good lookers in the camera's view, so his work ended at noon. Not bad for 9 Marks an hour. He stopped at one of the stands just outside of the Train Station, one of about a dozen there. He orders a potato and gravy stuffed pie and a can of Jaffa, and pays up his 8 Krona to the vendor. He settles into the Station, waiting for his train home. He unwraps the pie a little cautiously, having never tried this brand before. The cart was new to the area, and generally if they were new they were just hopefuls barely starting out, and hopefuls didnt always make or buy quality food. To his surprise, it wasnt bad, still hot mashed potatoes with a gravy like sauce soaked in and chunks of beef throughout. He breaks the seal on his can of Mango Jaffa, enjoying the carbonated fruity drink. His train slides into the station, and the doors open with only a handful getting out, most notably a Public Safety Officer. Careful not to make eye contact, he enters the train, finds a seat a few rows in, and pulls out some headphones from his bag. Bulky as they were, there were some of the best quality you could buy, at well over 40 Marks. As the train pulls out of the station, he gets his plans ready for the rest of his day. Probably watch the some cooking stuff. Gordon Ramesy, incredibly popular in the black market, had been approved for viewing, and Hell's Kitchen was going nonstop on many of the channels recently. His plans for dinner was to just go out. Get some crisps or something from somewhere. Yeah, crisps, from that place near the bank. Thatll do fine.

Eternal Spring Empty JVP Kyong and Teimurazi date in Augustinia

Wed Jan 18, 2023 1:35 pm
Nurnfurt, Augustinian

The trip to Augustinian had really come to a surprise to Kyong, who had been spending the past few months as, what they called a hype man, in the boxing world. Really all he did was read passages from his book, 'A Passion to Fight', for Teimurazi 'The Monster' Oxmaul. In the short few months since meeting the boxer at the Royal Masquerade Gala, he had become the boxer's personal reader, both before matches and during training. This role even saw him going to press interviews and weigh-ins. These are things Kyong did not mind, he even enjoyed them as they gave him great insight into the next box he was writing 'Love after the 12th round.'

No, Kyong had enjoyed his time with Teimurazi, and the two had grown very close. So it was no surprise that over dinner at a press event, that the Boxer had confessed to Kyong about his attraction to the writer, and Kyong very touched also confessed his feelings for the boxer. A few private dates later, Kyong would be surprised by the boxer once again, when asked by a report why he seemed to be more dominant in the ring and if it had something to do with a love interest. That Teimurazi outright turned to Kyong and said "Yes. The love of Kyong has helped me to push past my limits and excel as a boxer.." Locking his fingers with Kyong, he would say finding happiness has helped him.

This event of course sent great ripples through out the boxing world, as many supported the now openly gay boxer, as others were not so supportive. One of those unsupportive boxers happened to be Teimurazi's next opponent. A number one contender match for a Championship match against the current WBO Champion.

Slurs and negative press events would follow, with Teimurazi being very respectful, and his opponent using the stage to throw out homophonic insults. But the night of the fight Teimurazi would end the fight with one punch, a power straight to the face, dropping his opponent and causing the ref to call for a stoppage. Teimurazi would then go on to win the WBO belt.

The whole time during these events, Kyong still accompanied Teimurazi to events, they still held hands as they walked in, and even shared a kiss after Teimurazi won the WBO belt. Kyong had been openly gay for some time, but most did not wish to believe it, so he kept to himself mostly. Even with his relationship being very public, the young writer would still get personal calls from female nobles. Wishing for him to read to them, as they laid in bed with little on but a light robe.

He even got an invite from the High Queen herself, who wished for a personal reading of his new book. It was there that the Queen had told him that he would have made a good husband for her, but she would not hold it against him. Their time together was very enjoyable for Kyong, who was growing tired of all the advancements he would receive from other nobles.

Kyong sighed, all this seemed like years ago, and now here he was in another nation in another region, and sitting right across from him was the love of his life.

"Teimurazi." Kyong began, taking a sip of his tea, a blast of flavor filling his mouth as he enjoyed the Augustinian blend.

Teimurazi put down his phone and focused on Kyong. "Yes my love?" He said, watching Kyong blush slightly.

"Umm." They have been dating for months, and Kyong still could not get past how the boxer spoke to him. 'My Love' This term always sent chills down his spin and caused his face to grow flush. "Umm." He said again, trying to regain his thoughts. "Inna should be meeting us later on today. She said she knows a few good places to eat." Kyong finally got out.

Teimurazi patted his stomach. "So much good food in this nation. I'll have to start fighting in a new weight class." He sent a smile to Kyong. "Unless you want to train with me this week." He lowered his voice to a low bare-tone whisper. "I could use a good sparring partner to go a few rounds." He let out a deep laugh as Kyong's eyes grew wide and his face flushed some more. "You are truly a sight to behold."

Kyong faced away, trying to hide the state of his face, but knew that would not help. "Fine." He finally said. "But as far as I remember, I'm the only one to have scored a knock out on the great Monster." Kyong held his fists up. "I'm the true Champion here."

The boxer laughed, as he threw some money on the table and got to his feet. "Then Mister Unified Champion. Would you be so kind as to escort this lowly boxer for a walk around the park?" He held his hand out for Kyong to take.

"I don't see why not. I know it must be tiring having to carry around all my belts." Kyong said, taking his hand and pulling the boxer close to him. "Today is my victory." He said, placing a light kiss on the boxer. "Also, I would like to check out the Museum here. Nurnfurt is said to be rich in history. I wish to write a book set here."

"As you wish my love." Teimurazi said, as the two locked fingers, leaving the small café.

Eternal Spring Empty From Fed

Wed Jan 18, 2023 1:41 pm
He groans, rolls over, and turns off the alarm. It was 0500 in the morning, and he was in the Berga Army Base, near Nynäshamn, Sweden, in the third floor of a five floor barrack building. He puts on his uniform, not the brown one of the PTs, but the camouflaged ones of the YTM uniform, the red on his collars showing he was a tanker, and grabs his rucksack. He had packed it to 22kg the night before, in preparation for this ruckmarch. He would spend two hours that morning marching 10km in 5c weather, undergoing the daily physical training the Federation Army required. Afterwards, he drops his weighy ruck onto his bed, and goes to take a shower in his barracks rooms small bathroom, beating his roommate to it.
He walks to two kilometers to the motorpool, a backpack containing his helmet and gloves on his back, and stops by one of the venders along the route, buying a simple breakfast stuffed pie for a few Krona, to eat once he gets to his tank. He gets to hi motorpool by 0900, and sets his backpack on the ground in front of his Wolf tank, leaning over the front slope of it as he bites into the stuffed pie. Its simple, tube shaped, crispy fried bread with insides of egg, spicy sausage, and hashbrowns, one he buys two or three times a week. Once he finishes, he starts to undo the tarps on top of his tank, with the rest of the company arriving by 0920. At 0930, theres a quick company formation in front of the tanks, and then the platoon crowds around the platoon sergeant as he gives out the priorities for the day. Afterwords, he returns to his tank, finishing untarping it and then uses his key to open the Gunners hatch, climbing in, and then sliding into the hole in the turret basket that allows access to the drivers hole. He quickly opens his hatch, and start up his tanks engine, the turboshaft engine spooling up with a whine as it starts. Then he pulls out his phone, ready to sit for an hour just running the tank. After running it for an hour, he starts working on cleaning the breach within the tank, moving the metal guards out of the way to do so.
By 1200, he had locked the tank back up, and grabbed his backpack before heading to the chow hall for lunch. He puts on his mask as he walks in, and scans his ID at the counter, then grabs a tray, moving down the line as hes handed a bowl filled with Vintergyta, and then a plate with thick cut potato crisps and mixed vegetables on it. He heads off to get a drink, and then settles down at a table to eat.
By 1300, hes back at the motorpool, unlocking the tank and returning to cleaning the turret, eventually, with the help of a pair of his platoonmates, moves his tank into the maintenance bay towards the end of the day, shutting it down for the mechanics to work on its scavenger fan tomorrow, then he heads out to formation, with the day ending with an 1800 company formation. On his way back to his room, he gets some food for dinner from a takeout place, spending four Marks on some Palt with spicy pork filling and Falukorv sausage, plus a can of Jaffa cola.

Eternal Spring Empty JVP Teimurazi Unifies

Wed Jan 18, 2023 1:42 pm
Madison Square Garden

The Night seemed to drag on and on, as Teimurazi laid on the bench, his head placed in Kyong's lap, as the writer read to him.

"Our love is more than just this uniform, more than the titles and rank we aim for. Pandora said, dropping her weapon and rushing Favine. Our love is..." Kyong paused, as he always did at this point, and slid the book to the side just enough to see Teimurazi face.

"Our Love is unbreakable." The Boxer said. "Like the blades we clash together." He smiled, as Kyong lent down, hair falling over the boxer and providing them with their own little world.

"You sure you want me to keep reading you this book, over and over?" Kyong said, looking into the deep blue glow of Teimurazi eyes.

"Forever and ever." He said, arching up to Kiss Kyong.

"Teimurazi" Yelled a stern voice from the doorway. "Flirting times over. They are calling for you."

Teimurazi rose from the bench and looked to Kyong, holding his gloves out to him.

"You have professional trainers to put your gloves on, and yet you always ask me to do it." Kyong said, taking the gloves and began fastening them to Teimurazi fists.

"When you do it, you bring me good luck. Luck I will need tonight." He looked at the group of men slowly circling around them. A Few of them holding his championship belts.

"Before I met you, I only had two belts. Now, I'm one belt away from being the unified Super Bantamweight, of the world." He raised his gloves to kiss Kyong's hands. "This is all thanks to you."

Kyong, taken aback by the words, just slowly began his small pre fight chant. "Please come back safe and unharmed."

"Alright. War face Monster." The Man at the door said. "We've been training for this day for years. Now go out there, and show the world why they should fear your fists."

"Yes Da... Coach." Teimurazi said, heading out the door, the group of men flanking him, holding up the multiple championship belts he held.

"Yelp, I'll head to my seat." Kyong said, picking up his stuff, and making for the door. He was stopped by the Coach.

"No. Tonight you will stand in his corner." The Coach locked eyes with Kyong. "Your love brought my son this far. He'll need you by his side for his biggest fight." A Smile graced the Coach's lips, as he led the Writer down the hall.

---------------------------------------------

The Match was nothing to write home about. The Second Teimurazi spotted Kyong at his corner, he knew he had to put on a real show, and 20 seconds before the bell to end the first round, He hit his opponent with a powerful body blow that dropped him to his knees. Teimurazi watched as his opponent looked to his corner and shook his head. Then the towel came into the ring, and area roared in cheers.

Teimurazi had done it. TKO in the first round. He was mobbed by his corner as they lifted him up, and danced him around the ring, before letting him down so the ref and judges could officially announce the results.

After the belt was placed around his waist, he was crowned Unified World Champion. He looked for Kyong, who still sat outside the ring, eyes wide as he watched him. He motioned for him to enter the ring, and offered his fists, so Kyong could take the gloves off.

"Thank you." Teimurazi said softly, as his first glove came off.

"I'm just glad you are unhurt." Kyong whispered back, taking off the other glove, and then held them close to his chest. "I'll hold onto these, see's they want an interview."

Teimurazi turned as a reporter moved towards him.

"What a show. Monster, tell me what was going through your mind during the fight?" The Reporter asked.

"My Mind? Oh, just that I have to finish this fight and not fuck up my next move." He Said.

"And What next move is that?" The Reporter quipped back.

"This." He said, moving over to Kyong, and bending to one knee. The Reporter quickly gets the mic to his lips.

"Kyong Ashynwar." Teimurazi began, as his father slipped him a box. Teimurazi opened it, and held the platinum band in the box, closer to the writer.

"We have been on this journey for what feels like a long time. Some may seem I have achieved my dream tonight, but that will only happen if you tell me right now." He scanned Kyong's face, he had that look like he just wrote a whole new novel in his head.

Then Kyong bent down to one knee himself, and pulled out a ring box. "You always get the jump on me." He locked eyes with the boxer. "Of course I'll marry you. I'm really the only one you can't beat in the ring." Kyong braced himself as Teimurazi lurched forward and wrapped Kyong in a hug. The Area then went wild.

"I love you." He said.

"I love you too, you big ox." Kyong said, pulling back and planting a kiss on the boxer. "But... Maybe we should head out." He said softly under his breath, now aware of the large area, and the cameras broadcasting this very moment around the world.

Eternal Spring Empty by Vivtzem

Wed Jan 18, 2023 1:46 pm
‘Words can hardly express
The pain I feel when I confess
the deepest truth from my heart
for today is the day that we finally depart
I wish I could have done this sooner, but I digress

I have gathered what courage I have
and trust that you won’t turn your back
I love you
And I hope you do too
Please say goodbye to everyone, on my behalf’

No. No. That did not sound good, it’s bad, it sounds constructed.

I thought to myself as I let out a small sigh, one of defeat. The air collected and pushed a breeze from the ventilation into the roofing of my mouth, it escaped like a whisper through my lips. My head was held up by complete dejection by my left hand. The elbow of the attached arm slid slowly closer to myself across the imitation wood of my desk. In my nervous state my index finger curled to form a half circle to my extended thumb, the latter of which sat right below my bottom lip. By God’s grace I managed to not bite the nails of the index finger, unfortunately the same was not the case last night. I stared at the note, dejected and tired. The world was engulfed in an omnipotent silence. In this state taking a single breath almost broke me. A part of me wanted to cry about how pathetic I have become. My pondering gaze and questionable slight smile transformed as my eyes closed and a frown emerged. My body shivered as the cold penetrated my sweater.

I felt the vibration before anything else. In a second my eyes opened and in that the screeching of the bell berated my ears. The sound of shuffling followed as everyone stepped up from their desk, grabbing their bags and getting out as soon as possible. I, myself, caressed the top of the note with what was left of my finger tips, folding it down in half before slipping it in my pocket. I shifted left out of my desk, my legs straightening up as I snagged the top carry handle of my bag, slipping it over my right shoulder. Gravity pulled me down, the slight imbalance corrected itself. I raised my head up to its natural level. A brief glance from left to right revealed the only other occupants.

The teachers sat together, one on a desk meant for students, one right behind her actual desk, and one who simply leaned forward against the sanded down oak podium. I moved to them. The one from the desk stood up and met me halfway, grabbing a small party bag from her desk, extending it towards me. I reached out and put my left hand through the paper straw like handle. A felt a small tinge in my eyes as I embraced her, my dejected expression slightly rising as I pulled away after a second. My eyes moved up to properly see her. She said some things I couldn’t quite understand in the moment, nevertheless I nodded my head as she seemed to conclude a sentence. The process repeated one more time. I don’t exactly understand what happened next, but I ended with “Thank you for everything.” in the native tongue of this land. A few more words flew by me as I then turned around towards the door as it had concluded itself.

I walked towards the exit, pushed down the handle counter close wise and then pushed the door open. I heard one more phrase, this time I was able to grab it “See you at graduation.” My eyes felt almost as if they were gonna bleed. I stood there, my left arm half extended as I meekly held the door open as I did not move. The small smile returned to its opposite side. A tear formed as I then walked out. The sun seemed unusually bright, shooting rays down onto me as I followed the concrete walkway down to the atrium. During the hug I know she was concerned, you could tell by the way she looked at me. I like how these urban schools don’t prick and pry you for information, but if I’m honest I must confess that it hurts when they never ask if you are okay.

Distant arguing could be heard from the custodians I heard, I looked over as I continued to walk. In three separate cages were three pigs in different metal cages, each had its own marking. It went from one to two, then a four, not a three to be seen. A small and barely audible chuckle followed as I continued down the path. At the bus loop there was the rest of the graduating class. Crowded together all except for two. That being me and the other sitting down next to a pillar. I sat down next to her without a word from me as underclass men walked out the front. She exclaimed my name; expressed my name with the prefix of miss. We engaged in a hug. The next few minutes passed as a blur, all that was on my mind was on if I should pass the letter. That I did not find the courage for. Eventually, her little sister came out from behind us, an unofficial signal for her departure. We both stood up and we hugged, then she left on the bus with her kin.

I stood in the outskirts of the loop, alone. What felt like forever passed as I washed the bus fade past my view. I took the folded note out of my pocket and held it in both hands as I began to tear up. I wish I wasn’t so worthless. I wish I could disappear

Eternal Spring Empty JVP

Wed Jan 18, 2023 1:47 pm
(Events Pre Electric Love, Gala starting)

Vivi looked at her watch as she waited outside the car which was parked on the tarmac.

"They are late." She said, dropping her arm and scanning the skies.

"They are not late my Queen, their plan is taxiing its way over here right now." One of her guards said, pointing at a jet making it's way over.

"Oh." Vivi said, embarrassed. "Should have said that earlier." Her face grew flush. "But Thank you for pointing it out."

The guard held back a laugh, as the Jet came to stop before them. The stairs were put to the planes side door, and Vivi watched as Admiral Son walked off first wearing his Knights Combat Uniform.

"My Queen." Son said, waving to her. "I have returned." He made his way down the stairs and bowed before her.

"I welcome Admiral Son. Or should I say Knight Favine the II." She watched as Son Blushed a little.

"Son is fine your Queen." He said, raising and looking back to the top of the steps, as a woman made her way out, a bandage on the side of her face.

Vivi gripped Son's shoulder. "What happened to her?" She asked. "What happened to my MaryAnne?"

"Worry not my Queen, it's just a cut. She went toe to toe with some Brown thug, and he managed to cut her on the cheek." Son laughed. "Bad idea on his part..." He started before being interrupted.

"Bad for him, cause I broke both his arms, and then a leg for good measures." MaryAnne said, as she made her way to stand in front of the pair before bowing to Vivi. "Valkyrie MaryAnne greets her High Queen."

"I greet you Valkyrie MaryAnne." Vivi said, as she lifted MaryAnne's face to look it over. "It's good to see you." Vivi said, leaning forward, before pulling back. MaryAnne on the other hand closed the space between them and kissed her.

"You use to not be so shy about about that. I guess being the High Queen has made you soft." MaryAnne whispered to Vivi.

Son cleared his throat. "Ladies. I think the car waits, and I would love to get this meeting over with, I have dinner plans with my mother."

Vivi was still a little stunned from the kiss, but quickly brushed past it. "Yes, YES. I wish to hear your reports on the matter of the Browns, and son, better make plans to have Gemma join you. She wanted to come pick you up, but is busy with Gala stuff." Vivi ducked into the open car door, as MaryAnne and Son followed in after her.

Eternal Spring Empty JVP Tyria Princess Arrives

Wed Jan 18, 2023 1:47 pm
Seoul royal Palace.

The night Eyona arrived at the Palace in Seoul, was a marked as a big event for the crown. Vivi had Gemma and Inna flown in that day, and had a private dinner set up for just the four.

The dinner was simple, and filled with questions about Eyona's homeland and her hobbies.

Around the time of desert, the topic switched over to her how she would be spending her time.

"Eyona my dear. Let's talk more about what you will be up to during your time with us." Vivi began, a piece of cake balancing nicely on her fork.

"You'll spend a few weeks her in Seoul with. A Chace for you to learn our culture, and the workings of court life." She ate the piece of cake, smiled and went for another fork full.

"After that, you'll spend a week in our lands in Laur, over on Aels, with Gemma." She looked over to Gemma who had a mouth full of cake and frosting on her cheeks.

"Mhmm hmmm." Gemma said, nodding to Eyona.

"Come now dear sister. manners." Vivi said, trying not to stuff a large piece of cake into her own mouth.

"Anyways. After that, you will spend a week in Vedoric with Inna. It's in Muhr. You should know Muhr, your Father has land there." Vivi took another bite of cake.

Vivi looked to the young Tyrian princess, like her father said, she was very shy, and Vivi did notice how she looked down through most of the dinner.

Vivi snapped her finger, summoning a maid to her side.

"Please go get the gift." She said, as the maid bounced away.

"Eyona, I know this is all new to you, and will be a major culture shock. But trust me. your time here will be filled with joy." The maid returned with a small box, which she left next to the young shy princess.

"This is a gift for you, your own little private area." Vivi watched as Eyona opened the box and pulled out the long key.

"That key goes to a large library on the first floor.  It's full of a wide range of books from across our history and from our most famous writers." Vivi smiled. " This is my gift to you.  Your own private library,  for you to read all the books you can get your hands one."

She watched as Eyona clutch the key to her chest.

"Seems you like it." Vivi smiled. "Now. this cake is really good, so let's enjoy it, and then head off for the night."

After dinner, Vivi showed Eyona where the library was, and then to her room.

"I'll be by I'm the morning to grab you for breakfast. You have a big day tomorrow." Vivi Said, as she watched Eyona silently enter her room and closed the door.

Back in her room, Vivi would talk with Maryanne about the dinner with Eyona.

"She is shy. It's frightening being in a new place, and at her age. The poor thing." Maryanne said, as she settled into the spot next to Vivi on the bed.

"You may be right." Vivi adjusted to allow Maryanne to move closer to her.

"You have the new Valkyrie recruites ready right?" Vivi asked, as she smoothed her partners hair.

"Yeah. She'll be able to pick your own Valkyries, and I even think the Order is sending over a few Knights for her to pick from." She kissed the palm.of Vivi's hand and nestled closer.

"Perfect. She'll receive her title tomorrow, and then escorts." Vivi yawned. "Then She'll truly become a sister." Vivi closed her eyes and let the light breathing of the already sleeping Maryanne wisk her to sleep.

Eternal Spring Empty Augusta

Wed Jan 18, 2023 1:48 pm
Classis Praetorium, Argonna, Augusta Isles, Muhr

The headquarters of the Confoederatio Classis (Confederate Navy) is abuzz with recent activity with the planned Unification War Vigil Cruise to the Praeparatio Naval Exercises that will occur in the coming days. The Navarchs privately discuss among themselves the planning and logistics of the upcoming activities.

"So our agenda for today is the Praeparatio Naval Exercises. While have a good navy for our purposes, I fear many of our ships and sailors are just idling away."

"It will be a decade since the last conflict we've involved ourselves in. Plus, our allies pretty much dominate the waters in the Pacific so we have our bases covered, if you will."

"In the long term, I see that as an issue. Don't misunderstand me, it is good that we have healthy alliances with powerful allies but let us not get complacent lest we become liabilities."

"It seems our Council thinks the same. In fact, it was Madame de La Fille who proposed it."

"Well let us not disappoint our Hochmeister. Do we have a proposal for which ships will be participating in the exercises?"

"I suppose the Carrier Groups of I Classis and II Classis would be involved. The Republic Carrier Group will be part of the Vigil Cruise to Vedoric therefore cannot be part of the exercises. Dominion is currently undergoing her overhaul, so she is out. Maybe it is pure coincidence or divine intervention that Ploiarchos de La Fille is involved in Vedoric's Gala. In any event, that just leaves the Alliance Carrier Group from I Classis."

"Let us have the Confederation and Coalition Carrier Groups from II Classis participate as well. Though it may alarm some with three Carrier Groups mobilizing for naval exercises."

"If our allies want to participate as observers, they are free to do so. It may be beneficial if we could also conduct exercises with our allies to promote and improve our alliances."

"We could propose this to the Council then. If that would be all, the meeting is adjourned."

Eternal Spring Empty JVP Admiral Son's Wedding

Wed Jan 18, 2023 1:49 pm
Son's dressing room

Son fumbled with tie, tying undoing and then re-tying it again. It was either too short, too long, the knot did not look right, or a whole range of small details that he was using at the time to hide his shaking nerves.

"Maybe I should have picked a new tie." Son said, going through the same routine of untying what already was a perfect tie knot.

"Admiral, stop." Kyong said, as he slapped the Admirals hands away from the tie, and tied it himself.

"Trust me Admiral, She's not going to care if your tie is a little off." Finishing up the tie, Kyong patted the Admiral on the chest as he helped him get on the heavy Naval Officer Jacket.

"Good gods Son, Got enough awards on here?" Kyong admired the rows upon rows upon rows of medals, pendants, and personal decorations that adorned the black coat.

"When you've done this for as long as I have boy, you tend to... collect a lot of things that people want to pin to your chest." Son went through the process of making sure each medal was facing the right direction, that cords hung right and that everything was placed right.

The Jacket weighed at best eight pounds with all the decorations, and he thanked Kyong for the help.

"So." Son Began. "Any tips about married life?"

Kyong laughed. "The Great Admiral Son, asking me for advice?"

"Can it boy. Just give me some tips. What to expect." Son gumbled back.

Kyong continued to help the admiral adjust his jacket, not really to help, but to gather his thoughts on married life.

“Life with Teimurai has been an adventure. You remember when we met at the Gala before last. I never thought I would find someone that would complete me.” He smiled. “Some of the best moments from when we were dating, would be the moments before his fights. He lay his head in my lap as I read to him.” Kyong smirked. “Said it helped calm his nerves before a fight and helped his focus. Must have worked, cause he has too many belts for him to carry.” He laughed, but saw the confused look on Son's face.

“You know, for a military commander, you are a really hopeless Admiral. Look, what was life like when you two dated?” Kyong asked Son.

“Life when we dated?” Son said remembering back to the time he and Kayla spent together. Then the 1000 yard stare took over. Speaking in hushed tones but never looking away from the wall, Son spoke.

“Son, you don’t know the fear and terror that women has put me through. Her and her murder hawks. Like a plague of locusts they are.” He gripped Kyong’s arms and stared him in the face.

“They almost got me one day. I was walking my ship, and like a pack of Hyenas, they jumped on me. Oh god those women were a terror, but then she showed up.” Sons grip lossend. “Like a ray of light and an angry lioness all in one. I could not even tell what happened so fast, but I remember her picking me up, dusting me off and then dragging me to my quarters.” The Admirals face blushed.

“She said she claimed me, and I was her prize to have. That woman I tell you. She makes my head hurt and my heart stop, but I love her. But gods forbid you cross her.” Son looked at the smile on Kyongs face. “What?”

“I think you answered your own question.” He Said. “Look, nothing really changes after you get married, besides the fact that you live together and wear a ring.” He held up his right hand and showed him the band on ring finger. “Other than that, life goes on the same. Just that the Authors now write your story as one.”

Son looked at Kyong. “They say you are the greatest writer of your time, and this is what you give me?”

“What? You expected me to give you some great sage like wisdom or insight? Nope. Marriage is just the same thing you have been doing from the start. Except you get to see your partner naked more often.” Kyong looked as the 1000 yard stare came back to the Admirals face.

“Wow Son, those Valkyries really did a number on you.” He said as he looked over the Admiral one last time.

“Kid, you don’t know the half of it. Had to give my whole crew therapy leave after we got back from the Brown clean up. Those poor young men, they thought life was so great with so many Valkyries on the ship, they thought they would have their fun.” He snapped back as Kyong patted him on the shoulders. “Those young men were wrong. They could not even hide from these murder women. Like wolves, they hunt them through the ship. Before a mission and definitely after one.” Son brushed off the thought of his men being hunted down and pounced on.

“Anyways.” Son began, turning towards the door. “I thank you for your help. You have always been like the son I never had.” He put a hand on Kyongs shoulder. “Maybe I should adopt you.”

“Kyong laughed, but he felt his chest tighten at the Admirals remakes. “Thank you. At times you have been more of a father to me than my own father.” He placed his hand over the Admirals hand. “Maybe not my father, but my son will need a good grandfather role model to look up to.”

Son’s eyes widened. “Ey boy. I can be that. Maybe he’ll inherit my title and house.” Son Said.

“What.” Kyong began. “You and Kayla are not planning to have kids?”

Son threw a hand over Kyongs mouth. “Hush boy. She can hear the K word from a mile away.” Son removed his hand. “Plus not for lack of trying, it just does not seem to have happened yet, still does not stop her from taking any chance to jump me.”

“Is that why you have three armed guards outside the door?” Kyong began laughing but quickly stopped as he saw a bead of sweat roll down Son’s face. “Wait, really? I mean three armed guards a bit much don’t you think?”

“Boy you have not seen that woman when she is in blood lust. Three is not enough… That’s why I have a QRF squad waiting down the hall. If I’m lucky, I can reach the helipad, before she tears them all apart.” Son nodded his head, pleased with his escape plan, Kyong on the other hand had a face of pure horror.

“Are all Valkyries like this?” He asked.

“Kid, you were summoned by the High Queen herself, to provide her with a kid. You tell me.” Son shot back.

Kyong thought for a second. “Maybe you should have bought a second squad.” The two had a good laugh, as a knock came to the door, and head poked in.

“It’s time Admiral.” Said the person at the door.

“Right. We’re on our way.” Son said back.

Son turned to Kyong after the door closed. “You got the rings boy?” He watched as Kyong reached into his pocket and pulled out two rings, one a solid silver band, the other well crafted thinner band with an assortment of gems and large red diamond.

“Yep” Kyong said, returning the rings to his pocket.

“Good, let's get this show over with.” Son said, as the two walked out the dressing room. Kyong made note of the three guards and then looking down the hallway he spotted a group of men, dressed the same as the door guards.

“Murder women you say.” Kyong said softly to himself, before pulling out his notebook and writing down a few notes. “A Passion on the High seas.” He said to himself as he wrote down a few notes to outline what he knew would be his next best seller.

Altar

Admiral Son stood at the altar, lights shining off his medals, which made a tinking sound every time he moved. Kyong could tell he was nervous and looked on the verge of fainting. But he knew the good Admiral would hold it together. Mainly because his mother was in the front row and her smile seemed to stabilize Son.

Kyong took the time to look over the crowd gathered. All of the major Noble families had someone there to represent them, most likely to cater favorably with the Admiral. Even his brother and father were there. Most likely to try and get his brother a spot on Son’s staff, seeing as his brother was at that age to complete his service. He thought to wave to them, but figured it best not to. He was no longer an Ashynwar, giving up his family name to take Teimurai last name, or so that was the plan until Vivi, the High Queen herself, bestowed a new last name onto him, Fenroris.

The Last name was meant for His Son with Vivi, Valk-Ki, but was bestowed onto him and Teimurai, as the boy's fathers. The Fenroris house would receive land from the Vatris estate and be a branch family to them. Mean Valk-ki and his descendants can be chosen for the throne.

Kyong accepted the title, making himself a noble, and a High Noble at that, giving him a seat in the High House. Teimurai on the other hand chose to keep his last name for sports and marketing reasons, but uses the Fenroris name when dealing with royal matters.

Kyong knew this move pissed off his father, because it gave Kyong a higher status than him. If only his father knew that queen would choose him to help her sire her kids. It also must boil his blood to see him as Admiral Son’s best man.

Kyong put the thought out of his mind as he looked around the hall again, this time to the upper level where he knew Princess Gemma and Princess Inna would be seated. To his surprise, he saw the High Queen herself sitting among them, with Teimurai, looking uncomfortable with his new noble status.

This put a smile on Kyong’s face and he shot his husband a wink when their eyes met.

Just then the music started playing, announcing the entrance of the bride.

Everyone stood and faced the aisle, those up top looking down to watch. Then the Piano began to play, the lights in the hall dimmed, as a large spot light illuminated the main door as it swung open.

Son watched a slim woman, most likely one of Kayla’s Valkyrie bridesmaids, walk in wearing a large gold and red cape with white fur trim and… Son almost fainted on the spot, as he recognized the tiger mask she was wearing.

“Gods.” He started. “I have a bad feeling.” He said as he watched the women open out the cape, petals of red flowers falling to the ground as she walked towards the altar.

Following behind her was another woman, dressed in a high end suit and strutting around, eyeing up the guest.

“This woman would tease me, even on my wedding day.” Son said, as he looked at Kyong who was stifling a laugh. “Et tu Kyong. Et tu.”

Son returned his eyes to the doorway, as Kayla finally made her entrance. Son was glad Kyong was there to catch him, because at the sight of his bride, the poor Admiral almost hit the ground.

She wore a form fitting strapless white dress that ended at her knees, her legs covered in white lace stockings with a pair of white Low pointed Low Heel Dress Pump Shoes, strap around the ankle.

Her face was covered by a white vile, but Son could see her eyes glued onto him, a smirk on her face.

“She’s toying with me.” Son said to Kyong. “She knows I love white lace on her, and the shoes… Kid, I think I made a grave mistake. I’m marrying the Devil herself.” Son looked around the room, most likely for an exit, but mainly to make sure she did not have any other surprises for him.

Before Kayla could make it to the Altar, Son’s Mother walked over and blocked her path. Son watched as his mother looked over at her and whispered something to her. The two then looked to Son, and he knew he was trapped. He observed his mother placing a bracelet onto Kayla’s left wrist, and then stepped out of the way. Giving her blessing to the union of this woman and her son.

“Welp, seems like your mother has approved.” Kyong whispered to Son.

“Boy. You have been no help to me all day.” Son said, more beads of sweat falling down his face as Kayle walked up the two stairs of the Altar and took her place across from Son.

“Woman, you have my heart, but with this little stunt there may not be much of it left.” Son said, taking Kayla’s hands into his.

“Also long as the rest of it can pump the blood to where I need it, I'm fine.” She said, brushing her thumbs over his knuckles.

“I swear Woman, you’ll be the end of me one day.” Son began, before being interrupted by the Scribe.

“Everyone may take their seats.” The Scribe said, waiting for the hall to be seated before moving forward.

“People of this great hall, we are gathered here today, to join these two in an unbreakable union. The Authors have seen fit to continue the story of Admiral Son and Valkyrie Sister Kayla. But not as two separate stories, but as one novel, to be read and sung by the Bard, till the end of time.”

The Scribe held his hand up to a detailed mural that showed a musical instrument over an open book, the Symbol of the Bard Author, the one worshiped in the JVP by the Author Religion.

The Scribe continued on. “Even though the Authors maybe looking to write this story, there is always a chance they have written in an objection. Are there any?”

Son did not dare look around the room, his eyes looked on the gaze of Kayla.

“Good.” The Scribe went on. “Now, who will bless this union?”

As if on queue, Son’s mother popped up. “I Eun-Hee, Give my son to Kayla. May they bless me with a grandchild.” She took her seat, and Gemma popped up next.

“I, Gemma Vatris, give my Knight, Admiral Noah Son, Second of his name Knight Admiral Favine. To the Valkyrie Sister Kayla. May their union be blessed.” She took her seat.

MaryAnne was next to stand. “I Valkyrie Mother and Head Sister MaryAnne, Give Valkyrie Sister Kayla to Knight Admiral, Second of his name, Favine Son. May their union bring happiness.” She took her seat and finally Vivi stood up.

“I, High Queen Vivi Vatris, First of my name High Queen Bethena, Valkyrie of the Champion of the Shatter Plans, High Queen of the Empire. Do give My Valkyrie Kayla, to Second of his name Favine Son, First Knight of Princess Gemma, and the Hero of the Yellow Sea. May their union bear fruit and strengthen the future of the Empire.” She Reached into her sleeve and pulled out a ring, throwing it to the altar and to the waiting hand of the Scribe.

“The blessing of your union has been spoken, the first lines of your new story begin here.” The Scribe placed the ring into Son’s hand. “The High Queen has blessed this union, may it stay strong. Now. Speak the first words of your story to each other and to the world.” The Scribe looked to Kayla.

Kayla bowed her head, breaking eye contact with Son for the first time. “Son, I know I am your heart. You say it to me every time we meet, everytime sleep, every time I awake, and everytime we… will, you know.” The Two Valkyries standing behind her shared knowing glances, and Son’s ears grew hot.

Kayla continued. “Still, I feel I don’t tell you how much of my heart you are. I saved you from the pack of ‘murder women’ as you call my sisters, not cause I wanted you to myself… Well, that was part of it, but I saved you cause I felt we could live a life together.” She looked up to the Admiral. “Hear my words Son. Stay with me, stay beside me, Say you’ll me, and please say you'll stay with me forever.” She paused for a bit. “These are my first words of our story.” She finally said, as the scribe turned his head to Son.

Son did not say anything for a few seconds, but a quick poke to his back woke him up.

“Damn it Woman. There you go again, turning my brain to mush.” He let out a heavy sigh. “It is true, you saved me from that pack of monsters you call sisters. And I've told you many times that I could have handled it myself.” He looked to the side. “But maybe I wanted you to save me. The shining valkyrie among this darkness of murder woman.” He turned back to look at her. “How could I not love you? I wish to be with you till the end of time. At one point I thought myself married to the seas, a Navy man till the day I die. But having someone to come home to has been a nice change.” He reached a hand under her vile and wiped a tear away.

“Now it’s my turn to tease you.” He whispered lightly, cupping her cheek. “Let's begin our long trip, our story has just started, and I’ll love to write it with you till the end. Let these be my first words of our story.”

The Scribe clapped his hands together. “Wonderful.” He said. “Let's do the ring thing.” He held his hand out as Kyong handed him the rings, then he handed them to the bride and groom.

“Now we don’t really have a tradition for this. So you know. The rings symbolize a bond and union, and the join of souls. You may place the rings.” He watched as Son placed the ring onto Kayla’s hand, and then watched as she did the same to Son.

“With this, your story starts.” He held his hand up. “After the kiss. Everyone loves the kiss.”

Son reached up and lifted Kayla’s vile, her grayish eyes staring him down. “Damn it woman, why do you drive me so?” He leaned him and gave her a kiss, as the crowd cheered around them.

With the ceremony over, the two walked the aisle to the exit, as red and white flower petals rained down onto the guests.

It took the two a few minutes to get to the waiting car with all the well wishers that wanted to talk or shake hands. But once inside the car, Son looked over to his lovely bride, who had taken her heels off and was offering her feet to Son so he could rub them.

“Woman, I swear, will you ever stop being full of surprises and heart attacks?” He said as he went to the task that was pushed on to him.

Kayla laughed. “I wish that was true.” She looked at the glasses of waiting wine. “I should have told them that I was Pregnant and should not be drinking.” She looked to Son who had stopped rubbing her feet.

“Pregnant?” Son said

She looked at him, shifting so she could move closer. “That’s right. Congratulations. I told your mother already… Son?” She looked to the Son, waiting for him to say something, but he was frozen. “Now you chose to faint.” She said, placing a kiss on his lips as she put his seat belt on.

“Better snap out of it before we get to the reception hall.” She buckled herself in and snuggled close to the frozen Admiral.

“You’re mine forever.” She said, hugging his arm, as the car pulled away, Son’s medals clanking together and a happily humming Kayla, being the only sounds in the quiet car.

Eternal Spring Empty Quentin's world debut (By Stall)

Wed Jun 21, 2023 3:21 pm
The little red light on the Camera flicked on and the hand signals told them that they were live. They put on big smiles as they adjusted their suits.

"Welcome to the King of the Skies, ladies and gentlemen its a pleasure to be here tonight with you all. What do you think of the event tonight Gordon?"
"Well Bob I think that our Heavyweight Champion Quentin Hassbach has a chance to win tonight, I mean you saw what he did to Gerald Harding a month ago, he slammed him to the ground in the fourth round and he did not get up."
"Now now, lets be clear Gerald also came out of that match with a sprained foot and a really bloody nose, I just hope his wife still likes the way he looks after that."
" What about this Oleksandr Usyk? The proud Ukrainian Heavyweight Champion, what's his chances against Quentin you think?"
"Now I have seen what 'the Cat' has done in the ring, he is going to put up a serious fight against Quentin, I am easily expecting overtime between these two, but I am confident Quentin can win."
"Tell me Bob, is that your patriotism speaking or genuine belief?"
"Oh its probably a mix of both, really its a matter of perspective. Oleksander has 20 Wins, with 13 of them being Knockouts, Quentin has 19 Wins with 14 of them being Knockouts. Its entirely up to the viewer to see just who will come out on top."
"Well you heard it here folks, its anyone's game tonight. We will just have to wait and see who will become the King of the Skies!"

The camera moved backwards and up as the red light flashed away and they cut to commercials.

"How did I do Bob?"
"For your first big event I think you did great with the questions. I think you got a great career ahead of you."

Eternal Spring Empty Alaniz vs Oxmaul: WBC/WBO Unification match press event.

Wed Jun 21, 2023 4:32 pm
Lights flashed in the press room of the Wembley Stadium, as cameras flashed capturing images of Gabrierla Celeste Alaniz walking in. She wears a simple pants suit in white and light blue, showing her pride in her home nation of Argentina. The WBO women’s Flyweight belt slung over her left shoulder.

She waved to the crowd before taking her seat at the desk nearest the left side of the stage.

Next the camera's attention turned to the right side of the stage as Gabrierla’s opponent, Renais Oxmaul, took the stage, dressed in street wear, she wore a body length coat with a mix of Vedorician and Korean on it. Around her waist was the WBC Women's Flyweight Belt.

Renais blew kisses to the room of press members, before taking her seat at the desk on the right, placing her belt on the table for all to see.

“Alright, let's get this started.” said Dramon, press agent for Wembley Stadium. “We’ll open out with questions from the press first.” He watched as a sea of hands shot into the air. Dramon pointed to a random person. “Yes You.”

“ Jack Smith, ESPN News.” Jack raised a notepad to his face.” Gabrierla, what made you take this unification fight and why for the WBC belt and not let's say the WBA or IBF?” Jack waited as Gabrierla’s translator, translated the question. Then she spoke back to her translator, who answered the question.

“Gabrierla says that she wanted to take on the WBA champion, Marlen Esparza, but she had already accepted a challenge from now champion Aylia De Avila.” He paused to get more information from the boxer before speaking again.

“As for the IBF, they would not sanction a unification just yet. So my team asked my opponent over here, and she said yes.”

Jack Smith nodded his head and then looked towards Renais. “Same question Miss Renais.”

Renais, speaking in the region common, with a heavy Vedoric accent, answered. “Miss Gabrierla was the first to call my camp. So accepted I would.” She looked pleased with her answer.

“Thank you both.” Jack said, before taking his seat, as heads went back up into the air.

Dramon pointed to another reporter.

“Michelle Wilson, Sky Sports. Question for both. Now that two titles in your class have been unified under the Confederation’s Aylia De Avila, will there be a race to take on the IBF champion next or try to dethrone Aylia next?”

Renais nodded towards Gabrierla’s side to allow her to speak first, and her translator already had her response ready.

“The WWBO belt has been a prize my fighter would like to have. If Aylia would allow it, we would like to take her on next.” The crowd burst into chatter, as people asked if that was a challenge or if her camp was already calling victory over Renais.

Dramon raised his hands to quiet the crowd, then looked to Renais, waiting to see what she had to say and readied himself for any type of movement from either side.

“I’ll focus on the fight ahead.” Renais said. “Only after I win, will I figure out my next move. That is all.” She sat back in her chair and looked around as the next media source was called on.

“Riyazat WNN. Renais, can you give us any news on if your brother is still planning to retire and who he has in mind for his retirement fight?”

Renais leaned forward and spoke into the mic. “I have no ideas on his retirement plans. Right now my brother is helping me training for my fight ahead and spending time with family.” She looked around as a smirk graced her face. “But I’ve heard a few names. Marlon Tapales and Stephen Fulton Jr.” She tapped her chin. “Something about the winner of their match would get a go at all the belts.” She watched as the room erupted in chatter as press members got on their phones making calls to their editors, in a rush to be the first to get the news out.

Within seconds Renais received a text from her brother that only said. ‘Don’t cry to mom after I smack up on the back of the head.”

Dramon, knowing that the crowd would never settle back down for any more questions about the fight in a few days, called the two women up for the face off.

The women did the standard fists up pose off, before exchanging flowers, gifts, and a hug.

Just as Renais thought, as she looked on twitter, the only news coming out of her press event was about her brother. She rubbed the back of her head, having just shaved the sides of her hair under the side parted bob that she sported.

“That smack is really going to hurt.” She said, as her and her team loaded onto her bus, heading back to the hotel she was staying at.
